The Cloni Success® series of Ranunculus are cloned through an in vitro propagation, which results in healthier plants that are free of diseases and viruses. This series is widely regarded as the finest ranunculus available and their price reflects that. Their large, impressive, and unique blooms, along with excellent vase life, superior quality, and consistent performance desired by florists and designers worldwide. Originating from the Italian breeder Biancheri, these Italian-bred varieties are known for their velvety, paper-thin petals, which create intricate, rose-like flowers with exceptional beauty.
Color Note: light lavender
Size: 4/5 centimeters in diameter, Make sure you know the size of the corms you are buying, many sellers leave out this detail.
Growing Note: Ranunculus can be tricky to grow in many areas of the U.S. The key to growing them well is knowing when to start them in your particular area. They HATE the heat so if you start them too late they will not flower well and terminate. They are also not winter hardy in zones lower than 8 and are prone to rot and being eaten by mice and voles. In general Ranunculus take about 90 days from rooting to flower and they will need cool weather (evening 40-50° & daytime 60-70°) weather. If too warm, they will stay dormant. I would always recommend soaking and pre-sprouting these premium corms - I would never just plant them as is and hope for the best - they are far too finicky in my opinion. Once you get your timing right you will be rewarded!
